What was the task?

To design and build a classic suburban mansion.

 

What made the project special?

​

The architectural style of the building, without a doubt. The house pays homage to Zugló mansions built around the turn of the 20th century, the absolute favourite era of our architect. It was key that we adhere to this style throughout the design process and channel it without adding any modern frills. From a technical point of view, placing a relatively long swimming pool in the basement was the most challenging task.
