What was the task?

To transform a run-down old building into a 21st-century family home, while evoking turn-of-the-century elegance.

 

What made this project special?

This is our architect’s favourite building, where the hardest task was to find a balance between tradition and modern solutions. Inspired by the Ybl Mansion, our client set the bar very high and we just loved bringing back the architecture of the turn of the 20th century through enormous interior spaces, historicising wooden ornaments on the façade and polished limestone ashlar cladding.
