What was the task?

To design and build a brand-new, accessible one-storey family home for an elderly couple.

 

What made the project special?

 

It was really important to our clients that we design a house which is comfortable and energy-efficient while keeping the costs down. We decided to use huge, well-lit spaces and passive solar heating that comes from the smart orientation of the building, heat-absorbing surfaces and carefully designed space connections. We really enjoyed working on this one and still love to see how thrilled our clients are with the result.
